Needing A Training Collar? The Dogtra SureStim Might Be Just What You Need!
Dogtra has taken the electronic collar to a whole new level with Dogtra SureStim 7000M. The SureStim feature allows the trainer to be acknowledged that the correct stimulation has been sent. Positive feedback is received by a vibration on the transmitter that the stimulation sent has been received by the receiver. When you are wearing gloves or the weather is cold this feature is particularly helpful.
The three levels of stimulation are available in the Dogtra SureStim 7000M as they are in the other series i.e. Nick, Constant and Pager. If it’s fast results you want this is a great solution, with it’s lower to medium range power system it is designed especially for the smaller breed of dog. The range of 7000M is ½ mile and is 100% waterproof.
Here is a closer look at this electronic training unit:
- The transmitter of the Dogtra 7000M is ergonomic and easy to use. There is a rheostat level on the transmitter which allows you to gradually increase the simulation intensity without jumps. LCD screen allows the user to keep an eye on settings in the dark or low light conditions. The indicator that shows the balance of the life left in the battery is another huge benefit. Most outstanding feature is of course the SureStim. Vibration reaction emitted by the transmitter each time any of the stimulation buttons are pressed is a real benefit. Once you have powered up the Dogtra 7000M transmitter, by using the mode button the vibration reaction is enabled. The LCD screen shows “H-On” or “H-OFF” depending on the choice that has been made.
The three stimulation buttons are:
- Nick - The button is identified with the letter ‘N’ on it and it gives a single pulse of electrical stimulation.
- Constant - A stimulation for up to 12 seconds is emitted using this button.
- Page - Pushing on the button will cause a vibration of non-stimulation for up to twelve seconds.
- The Dogtra 7000M collar has surgical stainless steel contact points and anti-microbial plastic. In order to get a good reception the contact points should make contact with the dog’s skin. Proctection of you dog’s skin is guaranteed as these are made of high quality materials. There is no external antennae on the collar as it has been built in.
The Ni-MH batteries with the unit are of a superior quality and are rechargeable and replaceable. An 3 color LED light is found on both the transmitter and the collar which indicates the amount of charge left. The battery life is indicated by different colors of the light. Red means the battery requires charging straight away, amber means the charge is at medium and green means it is on full charge.
